For Parents
Camp Harbor View can give your child a summer camp experience they’ll never forget. This four-week program offers everything a day camp should — hiking, arts and crafts, sports programs, and swimming — plus special programs designed to help your child grow and learn. Designed specifically for children who live in Boston and are between the ages of 11 to 14, our programs are designed to provide a healthy and fun outdoor experience in an effort to build confidence, encourage creativity, and help campers develop the leadership skills they need during school and beyond.
The best part is that your child will have a great summer camp experience that’s also close to home. Long Island in the Boston Harbor has a rich history and offers the ideal camp setting. Each morning, bus transportation will pick your child up at one of 12 Boston-area locations and return them back after the evening meal. During the day, they’ll participate in a wide range of activities and programs, and eat three nutritious meals prepared by City Fresh Foods with their new friends.
Safety & Wellness
To ensure your child has a safe and rewarding experience, Camp Harbor View is fully staffed with dedicated professionals who have many years of experience working with inner city youth.
Our Camp Director, Cara Gould, is joined by two Associate Camp Directors, and together, they manage a staff of exceptional 65 counselors. In addition, the camp has an experienced, licensed social worker on staff and healthcare professionals at the on-site health facility.
